Qatari-Libyan bilateral relations in the political, investment, cultural and other fields

Qatari-Libyan relations have witnessed remarkable development over the years, especially after the Libyan revolution in 2011. Despite the complex Libyan situation and its passing through a state of instability during the past decade, the Qatari presence has continued to support Libya’s stability and push it towards prosperity and development, by working to Strengthening the bonds of interdependence between the two countries in various fields, in implementation of the high directives of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, “may God protect him” and the Libyan leaders, as bilateral visits and meetings from both sides represent a true crystallization of these directives, and there have been many Visits and contributions in support of sisterly Libya, by the Qatari side, which has never ceased its support for Libya. Recent years have witnessed the exchange of visits by Qatari-Libyan delegations, most of which contributed to consolidating relations between the two countries.
